Tucked away in a historic old girls school, is your new favourite destination – screening blockbusters, classics and arthouse films. Snuggle into a beanbag with a free blanket, some wine and popcorn for the ultimate cosy winter night.

Dark Emu – State Theatre Centre of WA

Bangarra, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary dance organisation, is returning to Perth with their newest performance; Dark Emu. Bangarra is renowned for their powerful dancing and unique soundscapes and design, and Dark Emu is no exception. Based off the award-winning book, Dark Emu explores the vital life force of flora and fauna.

The world’s biggest Pinot Noir Festival is touching down in Perth this August. Originating in Australia, the festival now tours across 5 countries, so you know you’re in for a good day! The ticketed event costs $60 per person but all wine tastings are included plus you get to take home a glass worth $35. Located at Claremont showgrounds, it’s just a 15-minute train away. Trust us – you won’t want to drive to this one!

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

If there’s one show to see this season it needs to be this. His Majesty’s Theatre is hosting the 5 Tony Award and 7 Olivier award winning show during its Perth leg. The performance has won fields including Best Play, Best Director and Best Design! Learn more about the fascinating plot here.
