1. Palace Cinemas

The perfect outing on a cold winter day – warm up at Palace Cinemas, right around the corner from Holiday Inn Perth. They have just re opened and are offering $2 choc tops everyday!!
They also have a great ticket offer of 5 tickets for $40 for Palace club members. If you’re not a member they’ll sign you up so everyone can access the offer.
2. Jungle Maze

Check out Forrest Place this School holidays as it transforms into a jungle maze challenge for the kids! Along with the maze it will feature a baby giraffe and baby elephant, an animal mask making workshop and lush vegetation and surprises!
Entry is free, however you will need to register online (from 1 July 2020) and check in upon maze entry to go into a draw to win the ultimate Playstation family gaming package from Forrest Chase JB HIFI, valued at $1000. Prize winner will be notified on Monday 13 July.

3. Perth City Carnival

Perth City is putting on a carnival at Elizabeth Quay this school holidays! Enjoy amusement rides and a whole load of fun for the kids.
4. The Nostalgia Box

Explore Australia’s first and only video game console museum this open day and get a blast from the past. The kids will love seeing the old school games, and will even get to have a go!
5. DFES Education & Heritage Centre

Have your kids always wanted to see the inside of a real life fire station!? Now’s their chance. DFES invites visitors to explore the building’s unique heritage and learn about WA’s natural hazards.
Opening times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am -3pm. And the first and third Saturday of the month commencing 4th July 2020.

7. Kings Park

Kings Park is a kid’s dream come true. With some of Perth’s best playgrounds, there are so many things to climb and explore. The Rio Tinto Naturescape is always a favourite – but be warned, the kids will get a bit dirty! We’ve written a list of some of the best things to do at Kings Park.
