Hillarys Boat Harbour, Perth
Attracting more than 4 million visitors annually and located 20 minutes North West of Perth city, Hillarys Boat Harbour is the perfect spot for everyone.
The harbour boasts a variety of stores and outlets including boutique, fashion labels, giftware, souvenirs, art, jewellery and gourmet food. Wine and dine at 5 star restaurants, relax in a casual café setting or grab some take away and eat on the green lawns of the parks. Visit one of WA’s most award winning venues The Breakwater Tavern or indulge in a stunning smorgasbord overlooking the water at the jetty.
Catch a ferry out to Rottnest Island or stroll through the wharfs to eye off all the yachts and boats. Get close and personal with the marine life at AQWA while learning and exploring WA’s coastline. Don’t forget to pack your bathers as Hillarys Boat Harbour has a safe and sheltered swimming beach.
If it’s a family trip there is plenty to keep the kids amused with waterslides, mini golf, trampolines, rock climbing and playgrounds at The Great Escape.
Rottnest Island, Perth

Perth WA’s favourite holiday destination, Rottnest Island features some of the finest beaches and bays in Australia.
Located 19kms off the coast of Fremantle, Rottnest Island is a short ferry ride 90 minutes from Perth’s Barrack Street Jetty. There is a long list of things to do, see and explore on the Island plus regular Island events.
Rottnest enjoys the same sunny Mediterranean climate with a relaxed casual atmosphere and stunning scenery. Rottnest Island is Perth WA’s perfect island getaway. The island is an A class reserve and is home to unique plant life and many treasured animals, such as the much-loved Quokka.
The best way to experience ‘Rotto’ is on two wheels. Hire a bike and soak up the true beauty and isolation of the island. With 6500 years of history, 50kms of roads, guided tours, superb snorkelling sites, scenic beaches and friendly quokkas – you will be spoilt for choice.
Cottesloe is Perth’s favourite coastal beach. Look on Trip Advisor and you will see the same raving reviews; picturesque, Perth’s best beach, beautiful sunset, stunning. Located 15 minutes west of Perth the beach is internationally famous for its white sand, blue water and lush greens overlooking the Indian Ocean. It has been a popular seaside destination for more than 100 years and is a rich part of WA coast line history.
Visit the iconic Cottesloe Beach Hotel or grab some fresh fish and chips from the various takeaway shops on Marine Parade. Time your trip to Cottesloe and prepare yourself to see an unforgettable sunset. Visit in March to experience Sculpture by the Sea where artists create stunning sculpture artwork using the beach as their canvas.
Located only 25 minutes east of Holiday Inn Perth City Centre, the Swan Valley is Western Australia’s oldest and most visited wine growing region. The Swan Valley is a foodies dream with over 150 places to wine and dine. His Majesty’s Theatre

Situated opposite Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is the iconic His Majesty’s Theatre, better known as the MJA.
The importance of this theatre in WA cultural history is imperative as it’s the only remaining Edwardian Theatre in Australia. It is the home to opera in WA, but also renowned for musicals, ballet and Shakespearean plays.

Perth Cultural Centre Northbridge

Experience the culture, arts and community of Perth by visiting Perth Cultural Centre and its surroundings. The lively public space is Located in Northbridge, a 10 minute walk from Holiday Inn Perth City Centre. Perth Convention Exhibition Centre
PCEC is located 700m from Holiday Inn Perth City Centre and is Perth’s premier event destination.

Visit Beatty Park, one of Western Australia’s best indoor and outdoor recreation facilities. Enjoy a relaxing swim in the lap pools and take advantage of the gymnasium, aerobics room, circuit gym, water slides and dive pool. Perth’s Beatty Park is a great place to bring the kids who will be excited to experience the indoor water playground.

If you’re the fitness type check out the famous ‘Jacobs Ladder’ and see how many times you can run up the 242 stepped cliff whilst enjoying the panoramic view of Perth and the Swan River.
