From the producers of Fringe World, the Rooftop Movies is the place to be this summer. Expect gorgeous sunset views from the top of a Northbridge car park, furnished with cute beanbags and of course a giant film screen. There’s a bar and pop up restaurant so you can enjoy your dinner, snacks and drinks all in one place. Hot tip: get there when doors open as all the good beanbags go quick!

Perth Festival has been one of Australia’s premier curated multi-arts festivals since 1953. They proudly claim that they’ve been “disrupting and celebrating Pert hand Western Australia for 65 years”. Perth Festival has a range of free and paid events, but are most well-known for transforming Kings Park into a story telling, nocturnal wonderland.

Chinese New Year Fair

The Chinese New Year Fair returns to Northbridge for another year of celebration. From lion and dragon dancing, to stalls, rides, a parade and more, the multicultural celebration can be enjoyed in China Town, Lake St and James St.

Arctic Monkeys Live

This February, the Arctic Monkeys are heading to RAC Arena to promote their new album Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino. Their new album throws the guitar riffs out the window, opting for piano-driven tunes and obscurity. Catch them at their first AUS show along with Mini Mansions (collaborators from Queens of the Stone Age and The Last Shadow Puppets). RAC Arena is only a short walk from Holiday Inn Perth, enjoy the music and treat yourself to a staycation.
