Wildcats Games

Arctic Monkeys Live

This February, the Arctic Monkeys are heading to RAC Arena to promote their new album Tranquillity Base Hotel & Casino. Their new album throws the guitar riffs out the window, opting for piano-driven tunes and obscurity. Catch them at their first AUS show along with Mini Mansions (collaborators from Queens of the Stone Age and The Last Shadow Puppets). Bangarra, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary dance organisation, is returning to Perth with their newest performance; Dark Emu. Bangarra is renowned for their powerful dancing and unique soundscapes and design, and Dark Emu is no exception. Based off the award-winning book, Dark Emu explores the vital life force of flora and fauna.

Pinot Palooza

The world’s biggest Pinot Noir Festival is touching down in Perth this August. Originating in Australia, the festival now tours across 5 countries, so you know you’re in for a good day! Heirisson Island features the city’s local colony of Western Grey Kangaroos, in a small island on Swan River accessible by the Causeway. It may be tempting to walk up and pat them, but remember these are wild kangaroos and some are not used to being touched! Take a bike out to the island to make a whole day of it.
